On 4 December 2025, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (HUSO) and the International Affairs Division of Khon Kaen University (KKU) successfully organized the 2025 ‘Consular Outreach for Chinese Students’ event. The initiative was a major collaboration aimed at enhancing foreign students' understanding of legal compliance in Thailand.

The event served as a crucial platform to provide accurate, updated, and official information and advice on essential topics, including visa application or extension, residence requirements, and compliance with Thai law. The goal was to enhance mutual understanding among students, the university, and local government offices.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Dararat Khampusaen, Assistant Dean for International Affairs. The event was further distinguished by the presence and address of Mr. Zhou Guangxu, the Consul-General of the People’s Republic of China in Khon Kaen. Lecturers, students, and other key stakeholders involved in the project also attended.

- Life Experience in Khon Kaen delivered by Mr. Ouyang Youming, Manager of the Khon Kaen Language School
These sessions provided valuable opportunities for participants to ask questions, deepen their understanding, and foster good relationships for the future.
