The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (HUSO), Khon Kaen University, through the Student Development Unit, recently organized the Future Skills Certificate Database Development Project from October 20–22, 2025.
The project aims to create a comprehensive data management system that supports, promotes, and monitors the development of Future Skills among students. The initiative focuses on integrating technology with humanities-based disciplines to shape a prototype of “new-generation learners for the digital era.”
The event was honored by guest speakers who shared their professional expertise:
- Assistant Professor Dr. Chaiwat Nantasri, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Chiang Mai University.
- Mr. Tanaphat Taboondee, a professional computer technology academic.
They shared expertise on information technology, E-Humanities systems, database design, and digital data management to ensure the Future Skills Certificate system aligns effectively with the context and goals of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University.
In addition, the project strongly adheres to the principles of the KKU Students’ Identity and the identity framework of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. It emphasizes strengthening essential soft skills such as creative thinking, positive communication, and collaboration—skills crucial for preparing students to adapt and remain competitive in a rapidly changing future world.
This project is also part of the collaboration network among the “Six Institutions of Humanities and Social Sciences,” which includes:
- Khon Kaen University
- Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus
- Chiang Mai University
- Kasetsart University
- Mahasarakham University
- Burapha University
This network shares a common goal of exchanging knowledge and developing educational innovations to foster sustainable student learning in the future era.
