KKU's HUSO Teams Up with Kanlayanawat School for Language Skill Boost and Student Internships

On Tuesday, July 15, 2025, Khon Kaen University's (KKU) Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and Kanlayanawat School in Khon Kaen Province officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaboration aims to bolster Chinese and other foreign language skills for Kanlayanawat School students and provide practical work experience for KKU students, better preparing them for the job market.

 

The signing ceremony took place in the Faculty Committee Meeting Room, Rattanapittaya Building, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University. Presiding over the event were Associate Professor Dr. Orathai Piayura, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, along with Assistant Professor Dr. Piyaporn Punnakasirikul, Assistant Dean for Education and Digital Affairs, and Assistant Professor Dr. Benyatip Suphakalin, Acting Director of the Language Center. Representing Kanlayanawat School was Mr. Apichat Unkeid, Director, accompanied by executives, faculty members, and staff from both institutions.

 

This MoU is designed to foster cooperation in language skill development, particularly in Chinese and other foreign languages, for Kanlayanawat School students. This will be achieved through various academic activities, including language camps, extracurricular programs, knowledge exchange initiatives, and academic services provided by expert university lecturers.

 

Furthermore, the agreement extends to academic support for cooperative education courses and professional experience training for Khon Kaen University students. This will offer students hands-on experience at Kanlayanawat School, encompassing activities such as teaching assistance, organizing language and cultural promotion events, and other related academic tasks. This signing marks a significant step in bridging basic and higher education, working together to develop high-quality and capable human resources for the future.
