KKU's Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Honored with Two Awards at 2025 University Recognition Ceremony

Khon Kaen, Thailand – June 27, 2025 – The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Khon Kaen University (KKU), led by Associate Professor Dr. Orathai Piayura, Dean, along with administrators, faculty, and staff, attended the "Celebration of Appreciation and Gratitude" Awards Ceremony for 2025 (Fiscal Year 2024). Organized by Khon Kaen University, the event recognized and thanked personnel for their outstanding achievements and for bringing national and international prestige to the university. Associate Professor Dr. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University, presided over the opening and presented various awards at the Auditorium, Science Park, Khon Kaen University.

 

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences proudly received two significant awards:

 

Graduate Production Award, Student Development – "Unit with a Good Student Development System and Mechanism." This award highlights the quality and continuous efforts of the Student Development and Alumni Relations team in fostering student potential in both academic and desirable attributes.

 

Recognition Award for National Reputation – presented to Dr. Kantaphong Chitkla, Associate Dean for Education and Digital Affairs. This acknowledges his contributions in enhancing the university's reputation at the national level.
