Khon Kaen University & Honda Partner for Student Internships
Khon Kaen, Thailand – June 19, 2025 – The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Khon Kaen University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Orathai Piayura, Dean, along with administrators and lecturers from the Department of Eastern Languages, Japanese major, participated in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony. The agreement was established between the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University, and Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd., represented by Mr. Nopparat Wanachiwanawin, Human Resources Manager. The ceremony took place in the Dean's Office, Rattana Pittaya Building, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University.
The objective of this collaboration is to provide students with real-world experience in a professional environment, allowing them to apply their knowledge in practical work settings. It aims to enhance their professional skills, communication abilities, and teamwork—all essential qualities for the modern job market. Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a leading automotive manufacturer in the country, is partnering with the university to develop students' potential through education and internships. This initiative specifically prepares students for a job market that demands individuals with strong Japanese language communication skills.
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is committed to promoting and supporting student internships in real-world organizations, particularly with leading national companies.
