Dr. Kantaphong Chitkla received the Outstanding French Teacher Royal Award from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn
On April 30, 2025, Dr. Kantaphong Chitkla, Vice Dean for Academic and Digital Affairs, had an audience with Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to receive the "Outstanding French Teacher Award" a prestigious honor granted by the Teachers' Council of Thailand (Khurusapha) for the year 2024.
Dr. Kantaphong was awarded the honorary pin bearing the royal cypher "GV (Gor-Vor)," in recognition of his commitment to carrying forward the aspirations of Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana, Princess of Naradhiwas, and to promote and honor French language teachers with outstanding achievements, setting them as excellent examples for teachers and educational personnel.
Her Royal Highness graciously presented the awards to a total of 17 distinguished educators at the Srapathum Palace in Bangkok.
The award, organized by the Ministry of Education and the Secretariat Office of the Teachers' Council of Thailand, aims to honor and recognize teachers whose dedication, sacrifice, and excellence in teaching have made a measurable impact on students’ success. It stands as a national symbol of distinguished achievement and the enduring spirit of the teaching profession.
