Khon Kaen University's Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Signs Academic Cooperation Agreement with Hua Khiew Wittayalai School
Khon Kaen, Thailand - February 11, 2025 - The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Khon Kaen University (KKU) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hua Khiew Wittayalai School in Khon Kaen province. The agreement focuses on academic collaboration aimed at enhancing Chinese and foreign language skills for students and staff at both institutions. The signing ceremony took place at the KKU Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
The MoU outlines plans for various academic initiatives, including collaborative projects to strengthen language proficiency in Chinese and other foreign languages. It also provides opportunities for KKU students to gain practical experience through cooperative education programs and internships, better preparing them for the future job market. The agreement emphasizes joint research and teaching collaborations to bolster the academic capabilities of both KKU and Hua Khiew Wittayalai School.
Associate Professor Dr. Orathai Piayura, Dean of the Faculty, highlighted the mutual benefits of the agreement, particularly in language development, which she emphasized as crucial in today's interconnected world.
Mr. Weerachai Chanpakdee, School Director, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, recognizing the valuable opportunities it creates for students and staff to improve their language skills and enhance their future prospects.
