Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Organized Freshmen Orientation Program in First Semester, Academic Year 2026
On June 15, 2026, at 9:00 AM, the Graduate Studies section of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (HUSO) at Khon Kaen University organized its Freshmen Orientation Program for the first semester of the academic year 2026. Held onsite at Room HS1-4-A1-A3 in the Rattapittaya Building and simultaneously broadcasted online via Zoom Meeting, the event focused on thoroughly preparing new students for their upcoming advanced studies.
On this special occasion, Assistant Professor Dr. Piyaporn Punkasirikul, Assistant Dean for Education and Digital, delivered a warm welcoming address. She extended her heartfelt congratulations to the newly admitted graduate students, provided an insightful overview of the Faculty's Graduate Studies division, and formally introduced the Graduate Section staff members to the students.

Enrollment & Institutional Regulations
To ensure a smooth transition, Ms. Anongnath Yokun, Head of the Academic Services Section, provided comprehensive guidance regarding graduate enrollment procedures, essential institutional regulations, and academic support services available to students.

Library Resources for Advanced Studies
Furthermore, Ms. Yosayada Sitthiwong, Head of the Reference Information and Innovation Unit, delivered an essential lecture concerning the KKU Library's vast information resources. She highlighted specialized research innovations and library services tailored specifically to support research and publications at the graduate level.

The orientation program was designed to enhance students' comprehension of the curriculum, regulations, and the faculty’s teaching framework. It successfully facilitated direct interactions, allowing new students to engage with program chairs and lecturers, which serves in bridging relations between students and lecturers to foster an effective learning environment.
