HUSOLC Organises Certificate Awarding Ceremony for Yunnan Normal University Students
The HUSO Language Centre (HUSOLC), in collaboration with the Master of Arts Programme in Thai, recently hosted a distinguished certificate awarding ceremony. This event celebrated the successful completion of the "Short-Term Courses for Master’s Degree Students" by students from Yunnan Normal University, People’s Republic of China, for the 2025 academic year.

This initiative represents a joint venture between the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Khon Kaen University and the College of Chinese Language and Culture at Yunnan Normal University. It serves as a cornerstone for fostering academic synergy between the two neighbouring nations.
The Ceremony
The ceremony was honoured by the presence of Assistant Professor Dr Dararat Khampusaen, Assistant Dean for International Affairs, who presided over the opening and offered words of encouragement to the 12 students.
Assistant Professor Dr Benyatip Suphakalin delivered the opening remarks, followed by Dr Umarin Tularak, who gave a reflection speech. Following these addresses, commemorative gifts were presented to the students to mark their significant academic journey in Thailand.
Project Objectives
"This project aims to promote academic cooperation and the exchange of knowledge in Thai–Chinese language and culture. It enhances the students’ ability to use Thai effectively for research and communication whilst providing hands-on experience in the vibrant academic environment of Khon Kaen University."
