Reducing Food Waste at HUSO: German Program's Graduates Launch Sustainable Initiative in the Faculty's Canteen
The graduates of the German program from the year 2023 have noticed that a lot of food is thrown away and wasted in the HUSO canteen. That is why they studied "Education for Sustainable Development" in the Teaching German as a Foreign Language class with DAAD lecturer Dustin Hoffmann. They initiated a project to reduce food waste in the HUSO canteen. The result is a digital and analogue information campaign consisting of posters, QR-Codes, a video, and a homepage. The information can now be found in large and small in the HUSO canteen and here online.
