Flower
The symbol flower of the Faculty is Millingtonia Hotensis
or "Gasalong", "Peeb" in Thai. It is also called "Kankong" in the Northeastern region.
The tree grows to height of between 5 and 10 metres and has a spread of 10 to 25 metres. Its petals are white, fragrant, about 0.5 cm wide, 6-10 cm long. The bell-shaped sepals of the flower have five small lobes: 3 lobes with parallel edge and 2 lower lobes are quite pointed. Its flowers bloom from November to May.
There are many Kasalong trees around the Faculty's areas. Therefore, the Kasalong flower is designated as the flower of the Faculty with the definition: Kasalong flowers come as panicles which can be compared as unity. Its white flowers are like the hearts of students who dedicate themselves to the society wholeheartedly.
