2. OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAM
The Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology program (Revised in 2018) aims to produce graduates who have the following qualifications:
(1) Have deep knowledge of theory and methodology in the field of Sociology.
(2) Have ability to develop and disseminate sociological knowledge that can be used as a base for policy formulation and development strategies of community organizations in both local and national levels.
(3) Have the ability to analyze social and cultural changes resulting from social movements and globalization, and be aware of the importance of community culture.
(4) Have ability to apply knowledge in communication and information technology in sociological research effectively.
(5) Have morality and ethics including consciousness about self-responsibility and society, and have creative and initiative to develop peopke to live together sustainably.
