2. OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAM
The Doctor of Philosophy in Information Studies program (Revised in 2017) aims to produce graduates who have the following qualifications:
(1) Have knowledge and ability to create new knowledge and to integrate and apply relevant theories and concepts in advanced research in the field of Information Studies.
(2) Have advanced research skills to create new knowledge in the field of Information Studies. Be able to produce quality research that creates innovation or knowledge for problem solving or affect solutions which is acceptable at the national and/or international level.
(3) Have morality and both academic and professional ethics. Have consciene in promoting and pushing society to create and use information appropriately which leads to the development of society and the whole nation.
