2. OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAM

The Master of Information Science in Information Science (Revised in 2016) aims to produce graduates who have the following qualifications:
(1) Have knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and theories in the field of Information Science and other related sciences. Be able to apply knowledge to work and solve problems in the information profession.
(2) Have advanced research knowledge and ability, and the development of new knowledge in Information Science with research process.
(
3) Be able to apply Information Science knowledge to manage things effectively.
(4) Have ability to think, analyze, synthesize, communicate, use information technology, and modern management that will lead to the development of knowledge.
(5) Have morality and both academic and professional ethics.

Thesis Courses
The Thesis course aims for students to research on their topic of interest to acquire skills to enhance knowledge and experience in research studies in the field of Information Science. According to the standard criteria for graduate programs of the university, Plan A1 and A2 students are required to take the designated thesis course.
