2. OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAM
The Bachelor of Arts in English (Revised in 2018) aims to produce graduates who have the following qualifications:
(1) Have knowledge and skills in English and be able to effectively apply them to working in the field of English.
(2) Be able to think, analyze,and be creative by applying knowledge and experience related to English and cultures to apply in their works and problem solving.
(3) Have skills in communication, analysis, research, use of information technology and modern management.
(4) Have moral, ethical and academic and professional ethics. Be responsible to the society and have social readiness skills which are necessary for working and living in a transforming society.
(5) Be able to work with others under various societies and cultures.

General Education Courses (30 credits)
Students are required to choose two courses (6 credits) of the following foreign language courses or other courses offered later. Both courses must conform with each other. For example, if you choose to study Chinese I, you will also choose to study Chinese II. The language of the courses must not duplicate the course in the ASEAN language category.
