HUSO KKU Hosts Workshop on Writing for International Academic Journals

Khon Kaen, Thailand – July 14, 2025 – The Graduate Studies Section and the Research and Academic Services Section of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (HUSO) at Khon Kaen University (KKU) organized an Upskill & Reskill workshop. Titled "Writing Research and Academic Articles for Publication in International Academic Journals," the event saw over 60 attendees, including faculty members, support staff, graduate students, and alumni, gather at the Smart Learning Room, 4th Floor, Zone A, Rattanapittaya Building.

 

Associate Professor Dr. Wipawee Grisanaputi, Assistant Dean for Research and Academic Services, presided over the opening ceremony. Assistant Professor Dr. Piyaporn Punnakasirikul, Assistant Dean for Education and Digital Affairs, presented a souvenir to the distinguished speaker.

 

The workshop featured Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Phoocharoensil, Director of the Language Institute at Thammasat University, as the esteemed speaker. He shared valuable insights into the techniques and processes of writing research and academic articles. The aim was to enhance writing skills, preparing participants for publication in international academic journals, which is crucial for advancing future research and developing academic potential.

 

This event was designed to strengthen the research and academic writing knowledge and skills of the faculty's personnel and students. It aligns with HUSO's research and academic service missions, driving the faculty towards international academic excellence.
