HUSO KKU Holds Strategic Planning Workshop for Fiscal Year 2026
On May 23, 2025, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University, through the Planning and Quality Assurance Group under the Division of Strategic Affairs and Research, organized a strategic planning workshop for the faculty’s operational plan for Fiscal Year 2026.
The event was honored by Assoc. Prof. Orathai Piayura, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, who presided over the opening ceremony. More than 100 participants attended the workshop, including the faculty’s executive team, heads of departments, program chairs, lecturers, and support staff. The event was held at the Phuphan Kham Meeting Room, Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, Ubol Ratana Dam, Ubolratana District, Khon Kaen Province.
The workshop featured Assoc. Prof. Panitarn Peerapattana as the guest speaker throughout the session. The objective was to translate the faculty’s strategic goals into actionable plans through brainstorming sessions, strategic planning discussions, and the establishment of clear implementation guidelines aligned with the faculty’s mission, vision, and long-term goals. The activity emphasized participation from all sectors to support sustainable development.
The outcomes of the workshop will serve as a framework for each department within the faculty to align their operations with the strategic goals of both the faculty and the university in a systematic and coherent manner for the 2026 fiscal year.
