HUSO KKU Faculty and Alumni Honored at GS KKU Fair 2025, Reinforcing Academic Excellence
On March 31, 2025, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences participated in the GS KKU Fair 2025, organized by the Graduate School of Khon Kaen University under the vision “Grad for Growth: Sustainable Growth in Graduate Studies for Khon Kaen University and the Nation.” The event aimed to promote and recognize outstanding research achievements of graduate students and faculty members while serving as a platform for knowledge exchange and academic networking. It was held at the Auditorium, Northeastern Science Park, Khon Kaen University.
At the event, prestigious awards were presented, including the Outstanding Thesis Award and the GS Program Excellence Award 2024. This year, faculty members from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences received a total of four awards as follows:

Outstanding Thesis Awards
Doctoral Level:
Dr. Chawin Srisawat, Doctor of Philosophy Program in Applied Linguistics (International Program), received the “Silver Award,” with Associate Professor Dr. Kornwipa Poonpon as the principal advisor.
Master’s Level:
Mr. Tripitak Nguthip, Master of Arts Program in Information Science, received the “Silver Award,” with Associate Professor Dr. Wirapong Chansanam as the principal advisor.
Ms. Phuttaruksa Jetsadanuruk, Master of Arts Program in Information Science, received the “Silver Award,” with Associate Professor Dr. Wirapong Chansanam as the principal advisor.
This achievement serves as a testament to the excellence of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, reflecting the dedication of its faculty members and academic programs in advancing knowledge and continuous academic development. It also highlights the well-established quality of the faculty’s curriculum, the expertise of its educators, and its commitment to supporting excellent research. These efforts contribute to enhancing Khon Kaen University’s academic standards to an international level with the aim of creating knowledge for the benefit of society.
