Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University, Hosts Certificate Awarding Ceremony for Nagoya Gakuin University Students
On February 28, 2025, the Oriental Language Program, Japanese Major, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University, organized a certificate awarding ceremony for students from Nagoya Gakuin University, Japan for the 2025 Academic Year. The event was held at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, led by Associate Professor Dr. Orathai Piayura, Dean of the Faculty, who delivered the closing speech and presented certificates to the participating students.
Also in attendance were Dr. Kantaphong Chitkla, Assistant Professor Dr. Piyaphorn Punkasirikul (Deputy Dean and Assistant Dean for Education and Digital Affairs), Assistant Professor Prawpun Pholboon (Director of the Bachelor of Arts in Oriental Language Program and Director of the Japanese Major), along with faculty members, staff, and Japanese Major students. The ceremony took place on the 1st floor of the Rattanapithaya Building.
From February 5 to March 1, 2025, the Language and Cultural Exchange Program, hosted by the Bachelor of Arts in Oriental Language Program, Japanese Major, conducted a Thai Language and Culture Training program for students from Nagoya Gakuin University. This program aimed to promote Thai language and culture while also providing students from the Japanese Major an opportunity to exchange and learn Japanese language and culture.
Beyond language learning, the program strengthened the academic collaboration between Nagoya Gakuin University and the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University. Students engaged in various activities to enhance their language and cultural skills, as well as to gain experience with social practices and lifestyle, both inside and outside the university.
Moreover, this program not only promoted culture but also strengthened academic ties between international universities, contributing to the enhancement of the curriculum to meet international standards.
