The 2nd "Singh Sanchon Samphan" Project
HUSO KKU's Public Administration Students Connect with Networks Across Isan, Hosting the 2nd Singh Sanchon Samphan Project, Enhancing Political and Administrative Management Skills for Sustainable Development in Isan.
On Friday, February 14, 2025, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University, held the opening ceremony for the "2nd Singh Sanchon Samphan Project." The ceremony was presided over by Dr. Kantaphong Chitkla, Vice Dean for Education and Digital Affairs, with Assistant Professor Dr. Rungarun Boonsayan reporting to the chair. The event took place in the Pol. Gen. Pao Sarasin Conference Room, College of Management Studies (MBA), Khon Kaen University.
This marks the second iteration of the project, a collaborative effort between student networks in political science and public administration from seven universities across Isan, including the Public Administration Department, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University.
The morning session featured a signing ceremony for the MOU of the 2nd Singh Sanchon Samphan Network. The afternoon program included a lecture on "The Transformation of Public Administration in the Digital Age," an academic forum with student representatives from the seven network institutions on "Building Activity Networks for Student and Academic Development in Political Science and Public Administration: New Directions for Local Development in Isan," and the "2nd Singh Sanchon Samphan Network Relationship Building" activities at the Chaturamuk Building, Agricultural Park, Khon Kaen University.
The evening featured a special performance by the Performing Arts Club of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University, followed by the exchange of souvenirs, group photos, and the handover of the project flag to the next year's host.
The 2nd Singh Sanchon Samphan Project aims to provide students and faculty from the network institutions with opportunities to exchange knowledge and experiences in political science, public administration, and local development in Isan through collaborative activities.
This project serves as a platform for participants to learn and develop both academic and professional skills, contributing to sustainable and highly effective management and development of the northeastern region in the future.
