Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University, Welcomes the Delegation from the Department of Oriental Languages, Burapha University, to Exchange Academic Knowledge and Aim to Jointly Raise the Quality of Education
On January 29-30, 2025, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University, welcomed 15 faculty members and staff from the Department of Eastern Languages, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Burapha University, for a study visit and academic exchange between the two institutions at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University.
On January 29, 2025, they studied the topic "Best Practice in Developing Short-Term Training Courses in Thai Language and Culture for Foreigners" at the Language Center, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University. Then, on January 30, 2025, in the morning, they studied the topic "Cooperative Education Operations" and in the afternoon of the same day, they exchanged knowledge on "Teaching Management and Research Quality Development" of the Department of Eastern Languages, Chinese Language Major, Japanese Language Major, and Korean Language Major, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University.
The purpose of this study visit was to exchange knowledge on the management of Oriental language program curricula, the operation of the HUSO Language Center, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and to exchange knowledge on the cooperative education system, as the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University, is a model faculty with expertise and an efficient work system. In addition, experiences and operational results from the work process and curriculum development were exchanged, which will lead to the exchange of operational experience and can bring knowledge gained from this study visit to apply and develop the quality of the curriculum of both institutions, as well as build a network between institutions.
