HUSO KKU Language Center Launches Innovative Outreach Program to Promote Chinese Language and Culture
Khon Kaen, Thailand - January 24-26, 2025 - The Language Center of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (HUSOLC) at Khon Kaen University (KKU) recently launched a community outreach initiative to promote Chinese language and culture. The center participated in the "Three Kingdoms Chinese New Year Festival," organized by the Khon Kaen Chamber of Commerce and held at the Khon Kaen City Pillar Shrine.
The Language Center's booth offered information about its Chinese and other foreign language programs. It also provided interactive cultural experiences, including a photo booth with traditional Chinese and Vietnamese clothing, allowing visitors to engage with the culture firsthand.
In addition to promoting its language courses and services, the center used the event to highlight the importance of foreign language learning in today's interconnected world. The initiative aimed to foster cross-cultural understanding and emphasize the role of language in international economic relations, trade, investment, and global collaboration.
The Language Center's participation in the festival was a successful effort to connect with the local community and promote the value of language and cultural exchange.
