Khon Kaen University's Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Celebrates Staff Achievements at Annual Awards Ceremony
September 20, 2024 - The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (HUSO) at Khon Kaen University (KKU), led by Dean Associate Professor Dr. Orathai Piyura and Vice Dean Assistant Professor Dr. Marasri Sorthip, along with faculty members, participated in the annual Khon Kaen University staff appreciation and awards ceremony. The event, held at the university's Auditorium, recognized outstanding contributions from faculty and staff during the 2023 fiscal year. KKU President ,Associate Professor Chanchai Phanthongwiriyakul, M.D., presided over the ceremony and presented the awards.
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences itself received awards for its Bachelor of Information Science program, specifically for curriculum management. The Faculty also received an award for its student development programs.
Individual faculty members were also recognized for their excellence. Assistant Professor Dr. Kornwipa Poonpon received an award for teaching excellence. Assistant Professor Dr. Prapas Kaewketpong was honored for his contributions to student development. Associate Professor Dr. Vispat Chaichuay received an award for his administrative support related to graduate studies. Miss Charinrat Moya, a support staff member, was also recognized for her dedication to student development.
The annual awards ceremony serves to acknowledge and celebrate the hard work and dedication of KKU staff, fostering morale and encouraging continued excellence in their respective roles. The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is proud of its staff's achievements and their contributions to the university community.
