Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Khon Kaen University Pays Respects and Continues Administrative Duties
October 1, 2024 - The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (HUSO) at Khon Kaen University (KKU), led by Dean, Associate Professor Dr. Orathai Piayura, along with faculty administrators and staff, paid respects to sacred figures at the university and a local shrine. This act of reverence was performed to mark the commencement of the new administrative term (2025-2028) and to seek blessings for continued success in their endeavors.
The faculty members first visited the Buddha image "Phra Phuttha Pathommapawattyan," a revered figure within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Following this, they proceeded to the "Chao Por Mor Din Daeng" shrine, a spiritual center for the entire Khon Kaen University community. These visits were intended to bring good fortune to the faculty and staff as they embark on their new term.
Dean Orathai, along with the executive team, including Vice Dean, Dr. Nathatai Manadee, emphasized their commitment to ongoing development and progress for the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The faculty aims to achieve international standards in education, research, and community engagement. The administrators and staff also offered their congratulations to the Dean and the new administrative team.
The new administrative team, whose term officially began on October 1, 2024, will continue to build upon the faculty's strengths and work towards its vision of becoming a leading institution in the humanities and social sciences.
