On 20 December 2025, the Confucius Institute at Khon Kaen University hosted a formal degree bestowment ceremony of Southwest University, People's Republic of China, for the 2025 academic year graduates under the dual-degree academic agreement.

The ceremony honored students majoring in Oriental Language Studies (Chinese Major - Plan B) from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (HUSO), and those majoring in Educational Science (Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language Major), held at Han Hong Meeting Hall.

During the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Orathai Piayura, Dean of HUSO, read the names of the 12 dual-degree graduates. Subsequently, Associate Professor Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D., President of Khon Kaen University, graciously presided over the bestowment, delivered a warm congratulatory address, and took commemorative photographs with the newly graduated scholars.

This Dual Degree Program marks a profound milestone in academic cooperation between HS KKU and Southwest University, established originally in 2007 as a Chinese Business course. Over the years, this tie has flourished into student exchanges, teaching staff visits, robust research networks, and active cultural promotions, securing a creative and enduring academic bond between the two nations.

2025年12月20日，孔敬大学孔子学院隆重举行西南大学学士学位授予仪式，为孔敬大学人文与社会科学学院东方语言学系汉语专业（B项目）以及“对外汉语教学”专业的2025届毕业生颁授学位。该项目属于孔敬大学与西南大学双学位合作项目，仪式于孔敬大学孔子学院韩红会议厅举行。

在本次仪式中，孔敬大学人文与社会科学学院院长 Orathai Piayura 副教授博士 宣读了东方语言学系汉语专业（B项目）12名毕业生的名单。孔敬大学校长 Charnchai Panthongviriyakul 副教授医学博士 亲切为人文与社会科学学院毕业生颁授学位，并向毕业生致贺词及合影留念。

双学位项目是孔敬大学人文与社会科学学院与中华人民共和国西南大学合作的重要开端。双方自2007年起以商务汉语课程为基础，持续开展深度合作。如今，两校的合作领域已进一步拓展至教育研究、学生交流、教师互访以及文化推广等多个方面，使两校建立了深厚而稳固的合作关系，长期保持富有创造性的共同发展。
