On 27 November 2025, the Center for English Language Excellence (CELEx) at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University, organized an “English Pronunciation Practice Workshop” at Meeting Room 2, HS.05 Building. The event was attended with great enthusiasm by 44 senior high school students from Phol School, Khon Kaen.

Assistant Professor Dr. Chongrak Liangpanit, Acting Director of CELEx, warmly welcomed the teachers and students from Phol School to the university.

The workshop combined both lecture-style instruction and hands-on practice. Lecturers Vanessa Moll and Hannah Thomson shared effective techniques for correct English pronunciation, guiding students on how to apply these skills in sentences and real-life communication contexts.

Participants also engaged in a variety of practical activities, including English language games and role-play scenarios on relatable topics, designed to build confidence and encourage greater self-expression in English communication, as well as to help students achieve more accurate and natural English pronunciation.

The workshop was conducted in a lively and friendly atmosphere. Students actively participated and collaborated throughout the session, gaining valuable knowledge, practical pronunciation techniques, and inspiration to further develop their English skills in the future.

2025年11月27日，孔敬大学人文与社会科学学院英语卓越中心（Center for English Language Excellence: CELEx）于 HS.05 大楼第二会议室举办“English Pronunciation Practice Workshop（英语发音训练工作坊）”。此次活动吸引了来自孔敬府Phol学校（Phol School）的44名高中生积极参与，现场气氛热烈。

英语卓越中心（CELEx）代理主任助理教授 Chongrak Liangpanit 博士热情欢迎来自Phol学校（Phol School）的教师与学生来到孔敬大学。

本次工作坊结合了理论讲授与实践训练，由 Vanessa Moll 讲师与 Hannah Thomson 讲师分享正确英语发音技巧，并指导学生如何将相关技能运用于句子表达及真实生活中的交流情境。

此外，参与者还通过多种实践活动进行训练，包括英语游戏以及贴近日常生活主题的角色扮演活动，旨在增强学生使用英语交流的自信心与表达能力，同时帮助学生实现更加准确、自然的英语发音。整个工作坊在轻松友好的氛围中进行，学生们积极参与并相互合作，不仅获得了实用的英语发音技巧与知识，也激发了他们未来进一步提升英语能力的动力与热情。
