English Report

On 12 December 2025, the Eastern Languages Program, Korean Major, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University, organized The 2nd Khon Kaen Korean Day Festival “제2회 콘캔 코리안 데이” for Korean Major students from years 1 to 4.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Prapas Kaewketpong, Vice Dean for Administration, who delivered the opening remarks. The official event report was presented by Lect. Dr. Suketsak Wanvaja, Chair of the Bachelor of Arts Program in Eastern Languages (Korean Major). The festival was held at Meeting Room HS.03, Building 3218, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University.

The festival featured a variety of competitive events, including Korean speech contests, Korean writing contests, Korean singing contests, and cover dance competitions. These activities aimed to promote and enhance students’ language skills while encouraging active learning beyond the classroom. Students were given valuable opportunities to develop competencies in language, literature, society, and culture, while showcasing their talents.

The festival was organized with the main objective of strengthening students’ Korean language skills, fostering creativity, and supporting overall self-development. In addition, this project encouraged students to practice experiential learning, apply their knowledge in practical contexts, and use their free time productively to provide a solid foundation for their future careers.

2025年12月12日，孔敬大学人文与社会科学学院东方语言系韩语专业举办了第二届孔敬韩国日活动 “제2회 콘캔 코리안 데이”（The 2nd Khon Kaen Korean Day Festival），面向韩语专业一至四年级全体学生开展。

开幕式由孔敬大学人文与社会科学学院行政副院长助理教授 Prapas Kaewketpong 博士主持并致开幕辞。此外，东方语言学学士课程（韩语专业）负责人 Suketsak Wanvaja 博士向大会汇报了活动情况。本次活动于孔敬大学人文与社会科学学院 3218 大楼 HS.03 会议室隆重举行。

本次活动设有多项竞赛，包括韩语演讲比赛、韩语写作比赛、韩语歌唱比赛以及 Cover Dance 舞蹈比赛，吸引了各年级韩语专业学生积极参与。这些活动旨在促进并提升学生的语言能力，同时鼓励课堂之外的学习体验。学生们也借此机会发展在语言、文学、社会与文化等方面的综合素质，并根据自身兴趣与特长充分展现才华与创造力。

第二届孔敬韩国日活动的举办旨在提升学生的韩语实践水平，培养创造性思维，并支持学生自我发展。此外，本项目还鼓励学生通过实践体验进行学习，将所学知识应用于实际情境，并有效利用课余时间，为未来职业发展与日常生活奠定重要基础。
