English Report

On 20 January 2026, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University, HUSO English Corner, organized the program "English Language Guidance and Orientation for Admission to Higher Education.”

The event was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Marasri Sorthip, Vice Dean for Student Development and Corporate Communications, welcoming more than 40 students and teachers from Holy Redeemer Northeastern Region School, Khon Kaen, to Meeting Room 4A1–3, Rattanapittaya Building.

The program aimed to provide high school students with opportunities to practice and develop their English language skills, and inspire them to pursue further studies in related fields. In addition, the activity offered guidance on academic programs and admission pathways, particularly those available at Khon Kaen University and promoted the various programs offered by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

The program was honored to have guest speakers Lecturer Vanessa Moll and Ms. Hannah Thompson, who delivered English Language instruction and organized interactive activities for the students. These activities aimed to support their readiness for university-level studies and develop essential skills for future careers.

2026年1月20日，孔敬大学人文与社会科学学院联合英语角（English Corner）举办了“英语学习与高等教育升学指导项目”。

本次活动由学生发展与公关传播副院长 Marasri Sorthip 助理教授博士主持开幕仪式，迎来了来自孔敬府泰东北红救主学校 (Holy Redeemer Northeastern Region School) 的 40 余名师生，并于 Rattanapittaya 大楼 4A1–3 会议室圆满举行。

本项目旨在为高中生提供英语语言实践与能力提升的机会，同时激发他们继续深造相关专业的兴趣。除此之外，活动还为学生介绍了高等教育课程及升学途径，特别是孔敬大学的相关课程，并推广孔敬大学人文与社会科学学院开设的各类专业。

此次活动荣幸邀请到 Vanessa Moll 讲师 与 Hannah Thompson 女士 担任特邀讲师，为学生开展英语教学与互动活动。相关活动旨在帮助高中生提升英语能力，为未来大学阶段学习做好准备，并培养未来职业发展所需的重要技能。
