On 27 July 2026, Assistant Professor Chalit Chaikanchit, together with Associate Professor Dr. Thananan Boonwanna, Head of the Mekong Studies Program, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University, attended the academic conference entitled "Srikhottraboon Civilization in the Mekong Archaeological Context." This conference was hosted by Udon Thani Rajabhat University.
During the conference, the program participated in a panel discussion titled "Mekong Archaeology in the Dimension of Thailand–Laos–Vietnam Cooperation," exchanging academic perspectives with experts from various institutions to enhance archaeological expertise regarding the Mekong region.
Furthermore, Mr. Pitipat Chanthamat, a graduate student, attended the conference to expand his academic perspectives and gain valuable international experience. This event marks a significant step in strengthening the academic network across borders.
