The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University is stepping into the health sciences field through a dynamic academic partnership with Chongqing Medical University (CQMU) in China. This collaboration aims to level up students' Chinese language skills specifically for the medical sector, supporting cooperative education and global career opportunities.

On April 17, 2026, Associate Professor Dr. Orathai Piayura (Dean) and Assistant Professor Dr. Benyatip Suphakalin (Head of Eastern Languages) joined a high-level KKU delegation led by President Associate Professor Charnchai Panthongviriyakul for a study visit to CQMU.

The conference focused on building a language foundation to elevate medical education, specifically clinical communication. This partnership sets the stage for future student exchanges, joint research, and specialized internships in health-related agencies.
