On 24 February 2026, His Excellency Dr. Ernst Wolfgang Reichel, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Thailand, paid an official visit to Khon Kaen University.

Faculty members and students from the Department of German, together with the International College and International Affairs division, extended a warm welcome to the Ambassador.

This visit provided a unique platform for German-major students to demonstrate their linguistic proficiency and engage in direct communication with the Ambassador, gaining invaluable international experience.
