HUSO KKU and French Embassy Strengthen Academic Ties via ‘Study in France’ Programme

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (HUSO) at Khon Kaen University, in partnership with the KKU International Affairs Division, successfully hosted a day of scientific exchange and academic guidance in collaboration with the Embassy of France in Thailand on 16 January 2026.
The event welcomed Dr Ludovic ANDRES, Attaché for Scientific and Higher Education Cooperation, and Ms Sujira Panyawattana, Student Advisor from Campus France. The delegation was received by Assoc. Prof. Dr Orathai Piayura, Dean of HUSO, highlighting the long-standing friendship between the institutions.




Advancing Research and Academic Exchange


Dr Nathatai Manadee, Associate Dean for Planning and Proactive Strategy, shared insights from her recent research trip in France, funded by the French Embassy Scholarship 2025. This report catalyzed a strategic discussion on Securing long-term research pathways for KKU faculty members and linking HUSO with French social science research clusters.

The afternoon focused on student empowerment, led by Dr Kantaphong Chitkla, Vice Dean for Education and Digital. Dr Ludovic ANDRES provided a roadmap for those aspiring to join the French higher education system, emphasizing the quality of life and scientific excellence in France.
