HUSO KKU Joins CSEAS Kyoto University for Academic Collaboration
On March 29, 2023, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, led by Dr. Nathatai Manadee, Assistant Dean for Student Development and Alumni Relations, Dr. Jirathorn Chartsiri, Director of the Southeast Asian Studies Program, and Dr. Somphet Chulabuddi, lecturer of the Information Science Program, met with Associate Professor Tomohiro Machikita, Global Humanosphere expert, economist, and researcher at the Center for Southeast Asian Studies, Kyoto University. They were invited to study the work of the Center and discuss academic cooperation between the two institutions. Both parties agreed to organize exchange activities for academic staff and students in the field of research, training, and seminars on history, movements, and situations that occur in Southeast Asia. They also plan to sign a memorandum of cooperation in the future.
