Korean Culture Caravan 2020
Khon Kaen University and Korean Cultural Centre cooperatively hosted the Korean Culture Caravan 2020
November 3-4, 2020 around 2.00 PM the Korean Cultural Centre and the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University hosted the Korean Culture Caravan 2020 at the Ground Floor, Rattana Pittaya Building, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University. It was a great honour to have H.E. Mr. Lee Wook-heon, The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Thailand, to deliver an opening remark, and Assoc. Prof. Nawarat Wara-Aswapati Charoen, Ph.D., Vice President for International Affairs to deliver a welcoming remark. Ms. Kang Yoonkyong, the Cultural Attache of Korean Cultural Center in Bangkok, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences’ administrators as well as Head of Departments also joined this honourable event.
The aim of this 2-day event was to promote and expand the Korean cultures for students who currently are studying Korean from both Khon Kaen University and Mahasarakham University. The students were having a chance to be engaged with the Korean culture through the activities such as K-Traditional Play, K-Food, K-Travel, K-Craft, K-Attire, and K-School Look. Moreover, there were K-Pop Cover Dances performed by Onze (NCT Cover) and Brute (BTS Cover), Korean Food Demonstration, OX Quiz Show, and K-Pop Dance Lesson by cover dance teams, in which the attendees were presented rewards, gifts, and souvenirs after participating each activity in the event.
