Warm Welcome for Chargé D'affaires from Embassy of Republic of Indonesia
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (HUSO) led by Assistant. Prof. Sutida Ngonkum (Ph.D.), Associate Dean for International Affairs and Mr. Paiboon Manorom, Academic Program Coordinator, ASEAN Languages Center (ALC) gave a very warm welcome to Chargé D'affaires from Embassy of Republic of Indonesia led by Prof. Dr. Mustari, the Education and Culture Attache’, Ms. Sari Suharyo, the Education and Culture Attache’ Secretary.
The aims of this visit were; 1) To promote and offer the KKU GMS Scholarship provided by HUSO, KKU in order to attract the Indonesian students to continue their postgraduate studies in KKU, 2) To cooperate and support teaching Bahasa language by encouraging native teachers from the Republic of Indonesia to come and teach at HUSO, KKU under the support of BIPA Project, Ministry of Education, the Republic of Indonesia, and 3) To support the cooperative education and/or internships as well as student exchange, in which KKU students can gain experiences abroad.
With an assisting hand from Ms. Dian Candra, a Part-Time Bahasa Language teacher in ALC, KKU, this visit was full of excitements. Delegates were escorted to visit different places in Khon Kaen, Thailand as well as had an opportunity to join the online teaching demonstration provided by the Indonesia teachers at ALC, HUSO, KKU.
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences were every delighted having honour persons with us. Hopefully, our cooperation in the future will be fruitful and strengthened for many years to come.
