2. OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAM
The Master of Arts in Chinese Language and Culture (New program of 2015) aims to produce graduates who have the following qualifications:
(1) Have a deep understanding of the principles and important theories in Chinese Language and Culture, and be able to apply their knowledge to research or professional practice effectively.
(2) Have the ability to research or manage academic projects that will contribute to the development of new knowledge or new operating methods in the field of Chinese Language and Culture.
(3) Have the ability to think, analyze, synthesize, communicate, use computers and information technology and modern management that will lead to the development of knowledge and wide use.
(4) Have morals, academic / professional ethics, and leadership to encourage people to behave with morality and academic / professional ethics.

Students are required to take the following courses to enhance their knowledge, abilities, and skills in the field of Chinese Language and Culture according to students' interest, and to help support their conducting of Thesis. Thesis Courses
The Thesis course aims for students to research on their topic of interest to acquire skills to enhance knowledge and experience in research studies in the field of Chinese Language and Culture. According to the standard criteria for graduate programs of the university, Plan A2 students are required to take the designated thesis course.
